I became a doctor because I know what it looks and feels like when life gets hard. Raised by a single teenage mother with three children and little resources, I learned early the importance of resilience, resourcefulness, and showing up for people when they need you most. When patients are struggling, what matters most isn't just expertise. It's knowing someone is truly in your corner.

I take pride in performing excellent surgery. But great surgery is not enough. Exceptional care means listening before recommending, explaining before operating, and making sure you understand your options, not just your diagnosis.
